What is your personal style?

I’m a minimalist at heart. My wardrobe is largely natural fibres and monochrome pieces. I dress for comfort. The less time I spend thinking about myself, the more I can give to creativity and making things.

What is the most special item in your wardrobe?

A shawl gifted to me by a dear friend. It is exquisitely embroidered and deeply personal.

Who are your fashion heroes?

Stella McCartney, for her long-standing commitment to sustainability.

What are your most favourite holiday destinations?

I’m a wellness spa junkie. Anywhere with a great wellness spa feels like home.

What do you like to collect?

I’m not much of a collector.

What is the most significant gift you have given someone?

The gift of time.

What was the last thing you bought for yourself?

A fitness tracker. I quickly realised isn’t my cup of tea.

Do you remember a time when you were happiest?

My childhood summers. There were no responsibilities. As a new grandmother, I am excited to be seeing the world through a child’s eyes again. A time of innocence, unfettered creativity, and life before digital clutter.

What is your greatest achievement?

It is yet to come.

What does sustainability mean to you?

A cohesive approach to creation that considers humanitarian, economic, and environmental factors together. It isn’t about climate or wildlife in isolation. Sustainability is a design system, one that nature already offers us a blueprint for.

What do you dream of at night?

Nothing.

What are the phrases you use most?

“Fab.” And a few words not safe for work.

What are your favourite foods?

Chaat. Chaat. And more chaat.

Where do your best ideas come from?

Anywhere, really. I just need to be receptive. A relaxed pace helps ideas surface. I value slowness, mental space, and not being rushed.
