What is ROLLA?
ROLLA is a contemporary fashion and lifestyle magazine that best represents the best of style in India. It features people who lead the space in their design domains, avant-garde thought leaders, shape-shifting opinion makers, and stories that are worthy of making a noise about. ROLLA means, quite simply, 'to make some noise'.

MANAN SHETH
Manan Sheth was born and raised in Mumbai, India, where he began his photographic practice before training with members of Magnum Photos in Paris. His current work focuses on contrasting themes of belonging and isolation while also speaking to the process of evolution. Amidst India’s contextual backdrop as a developing country, he balances observations from several perspectives.
Beyond the stories themselves, Manan strives to craft pieces that hold a symbolic representation of broader ideas and emotions which resonate with fragments of his own life. He now brings this same visual language and conceptual depth into collaborations at the intersection of design, craft, fashion, and portraiture.
ROXAN CAPTAIN
Our Art Editor Roxan is a fashion and textile designer whose work is rooted in surface pattern design and visual narrative. Her practice moves fluidly between textiles, print, and illustration, where ideas often begin as drawings and evolve into expressive patterns. Inspired by everyday observations, culture, and playful nuances, her work reflects a thoughtful exploration of colour, composition, and storytelling. Illustration remains a central thread in her creative process, allowing her to blur the lines between fashion, art, and design.
